Inspiration Comes First.
Superfine is a partnership between the 501(c)3 non profit Four Youth, Raphaël Dahan, and Colourworks. It is located in a historic mill on 1900 Superfine Lane, Suite 8, 9 and 10 in Wilmington, Delaware. All three suites where upgraded with funding and volunteers from the local community with the goal to inspire local youth pursue a career in our field. Raphaël is a digital artist and Board President of Fouryouth. Colourworks provides high quality colour and black & white printing, processing and digital imaging services since 1989.
We offer our clients a comprehensive package of facilities, services and professional talent to take their creative ideas from concept towards final produced artwork.
Photography Studio Rentals
We offer monthly studio-membership accounts to photographers. The monthly cost is $350 and gives you 24/7 access to the studio so you can work on your project whenever you are most inspired. The studio is equipped with a studio stand, C-stands, reflectors, backdrops and all the basics. Flashes, diffusers, Canon cameras and lenses are available upon request.
In addition to our photography studio we have an adjoining conference room. You can combine the two spaces for larger productions and allow accommodation for a bigger crew. Just give us a heads-up and we'll get you ready for your big shoot.

Event Space & Conference Room
Our suites can be converted for non-photography proposes so you can host your personal events. The conference room is available to rent for meetings, presentations and the like. All while supporting a local non-profit that serves our community.
Membership is not required for these rentals but it is subject to prior approval. Submit your rental inquiry below to learn more about pricing and availability.

Post Production Services
Completed your shoot and need some retouching before you deliver your final work to your client? Do you need high-end marketing visuals for your brand or company? We have you covered.

Do you have an event you'd like captured by the four youth team? Need marketing images for your business? We can do that. We have years of experience shooting local events and have used these events to train our photography students on the job. So when you hire us for event photography don't be surprised if we bring our most dedicated and talented students with us. They can get more experience, and you get extra shots for your event. That's a win-win if you ask me.

Film Processing
Shoot film? Not a problem. We offer the rare opportunity to photographers to leave their film behind after a shoot and get it processed on the spot. We have a fully equipped darkroom and have processed film for our clients since 1989. You actually don't even need to rent the studio; our film processing and scanning services are available to anyone.

Colourworks has all the facilities to print and frame your work to museum standards. We cater to everyone; from local photographers to museums. Even President Biden had a Fouryouth Production exhibition in his residence that we produced. We offer a wide variety of finishes and materials so we can ensure your work will get the optimal presentation.

Exhibition Services
Would you like to share your body of work with the public? We can help you with that. Big-time. We offer conventional artists as well as photographers the opportunity to visit us with their work and have everything taken care of to produce a complete exhibition. Optional services are: Assistance with artwork curation, Invitation design and production, and 360° live streams of the grand opening on Facebook. Every exhibit we facilitate includes a grand-opening with Hors d'Oeuvres and daily display of your work at Colourworks during business hours. This ensures your audience and the local artist community will notice your work every day.

Private Education
Inspiration comes first. We all know it feels great to have creative ideas but we also need to learn how to execute them. We have 10 years of experience in teaching K-12 STEAM programming in our local district and have decided to share this opportunity with the public. Would you like to learn how to use a camera? No problem. Want your children to have one-on-one weekend photography classes in the photography studio? Now they can.
We offer a variety of photography classes and excursions that can culminate in an exhibition with the students' artwork. You can invite your family and friends to proudly show off the newly created artwork during an event in our studio. Fill out the application below and we'll take it from there.
